We often get requests for information about donations to Church Under the Bridge. While CUB started as a bible study of Mission Waco, it became a separate organization in 1999 due to healthy growth of the church. We cannot accept donations for Church Under the Bridge, so please contact them directly regarding donation info. The Church Under the Bridge office is located at 713 N. 18th Street, Waco, TX 76707. Their website is www.churchunderthebridge.org , and office phone number is 254-235-7818.
Please consult your tax advisor or the IRS regarding tax deductions for charitable contributions.
Per IRS guidelines on Charitable Contributions, Publication #526, (A.) contributions that cannot be deducted include
a contribution to a specific individual, (B.) the part of a contribution from which YOU receive or expect
a benefit, and (C.) several additional types listed in the publication. Here are a few examples:
A. If you are contributing for the expenses of a person that is going on a mission trip, or helping interns reach their fundraising goals for the Intern Program,
your donation can be tax-deductible only if you do not write the person's name on the check. You may attach a note
requesting that the contribution be used to support the person's trip or the intern's fundraising goal. If for some reason the
person cannot go on the trip, due to IRS guidelines the Mission Waco board of directors will determine subsequent use
of your contribution. Donations are NOT refundable.
B. If you are going on a mission exposure trip yourself, the fees you pay yourself may be tax-deductible depending on the nature of the trip. Please check with us for details at gtenberg@missionwaco.org.

Information Sharing
Mission Waco maintains this website as a service to our volunteers and supporters, and as a source of information for those interested in learning more about Mission Waco. Visitors to this site who provide information do so voluntarily. Visitors need not register or provide any “personally identifiable information” to access any part of this site.
The term “Personally Identifiable Information” refers to information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact, or locate, the person to whom the information pertains.
This privacy statement demonstrates our commitment to online privacy. The following formally discloses the information gathering and dissemination practices for this website.
Information Collection and Use
Mission Waco collects only information that is voluntarily submitted. We will not share or sell information in any manner that is not disclosed in this statement. The sole use of this information is for contact purposes—to send receipts, “Thank You” letters, and Newsletters—and to respond to questions or comments from website visitors.
Donations
The “Online Donations” form allows our supporters to donate conveniently via the Internet. This form collects personally identifiable information including contact and credit account information and stores the data in a database hosted at our web host company, Sage Payment Solutions http://www.sagepayments.net . The information stored includes the following:
- Name, address, email, and phone if provided
- Donation amount, type of card, and expiration date
- Comments and/or information related to memorial or honorarium donations
NOTE: Your complete credit card number is NOT stored in the database. The database stores a masked form of the number that includes only the last four digits, e.g., XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-1234.
Credit account information that is collected is transmitted from our web server to Sage Pyaments Solutions. where the online transaction is processed on their secure servers. This occurs when the donor clicks the “Submit” button on the “Verify Donation Information” form. Data collection and transfers are protected using SSL encryption technology.
Information Sharing
Mission Waco does not share information with any person, organization, or other entity except as outlined above related to the “Online Donations” form. The sharing occurs when the “Submit” button is clicked and the data is sent to Sage Payment Solutions for processing.
Security
The website server uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption to secure the exchange of data. This protocol applies to the “Online Donations” form and to the transmission of that data to Sage Payment Solutions. Data submitted via the “Feedback” form is not encrypted.

If anyone wants to be added or removed from our mailing list or e-news, you may:
