After years of providing only a residential faith-based treatment program for folks struggling with alcohol/drug abuse and addiction, Mission Waco has recently expanded its program to include the creation of a faith-based outpatient program called “Twelve/Two.”
“Twelve/Two” meets at Mission Waco’s Meyer Center for Urban Ministries, 1226 Washington, on Thursdays evenings, 6:30-7:30p.m. for men and women. Vincent Hartsfield, Sandy Emorian, and other staff and approved volunteers will be involved in the application process, screenings, treatment team and as facilitators. The program is listed with DSHS as a faith-based outpatient program.
Mission Waco currently has a three-phase, faith-based, residential treatment home for men (4-6 months), with a transitional program (up to 12 months) called “Manna House.” Our women’s home, “House of Dignity,” will open when funding is available.
We are excited we can offer professional treatment from a Christian perspective for our community. Please feel free to pass this information on to others you think may be interested.
