The holiday season can be a stressful time for many low-income families. Shopping for presents seems to be an insurmountable task, even for those who can afford it. To alleviate this pressure and simplify the gift search, Mission Waco has stepped up to partner with parents in providing Christmas presents to their children at an affordable cost. We need lots of toys to make this a happy experience! The Christmas Toy Store is provided for low-income parents who are given a "Shopping Pass" to be able to purchase our toys at an 80% retail discount. A limited number of passes will be issued on Saturday, November 20th, beginning at 10 am that morning at our Children's Center, located at 1201 N 16th. Passes are distributed on a, "first-come, first-serve" basis. Shopping details will be provided that morning during distribution. Call the Mission Waco Main Office for more details: 254-753-4900.
