Mission Waco Mission World will be hosting our annual Thanksgiving Lunch on Thursday November 27. All are invited to come and enjoy lunch and fellowship with one another! Location: Austin Avenue Methodist Church

Volunteers

We are seeking volunteers to help prepare turkeys ahead of time (including cooking, deboning, separating between white and dark meat) and to assist with food preparation Wednesday November 26. For information on volunteering please email Bailie Rouse [email protected].

Donations

At Mission Waco’s annual Thanksgiving Lunch, we host BINGO in which community members have the opportunity to win new coats, hygiene items and warm weather accessories (gloves, hats, handwarmers)! Our hope is that all individuals participating have the chance to leave the event with a brand new coat. We are currently seeking donations for adult coats sizes S-XXL for both men and women. We are asking that donations be given no later than Friday, November 14th! If you are interested in donating a coat, you can email Bailie Rouse at [email protected] to coordinate a time to drop the coat off.
