Every Parent Deserves to Shop with Dignity
The holiday season can be a stressful time for many low-income families. Shopping for presents seems to be an insurmountable task, even for those who can afford it. To alleviate this pressure and simplify the gift search, Mission Waco has stepped up to partner with parents in providing Christmas presents to their children at an affordable cost.
Operating the first weekend of December, our volunteer-run Christmas Toy Store gives parents the opportunity to purchase brand new toys and gifts at an 80% discount off the retail price. Each year, the Toy Store serves over 500 parents in Waco, which amounts to over 2,000 children! Parents can select quality, affordable gifts for their children and get them expertly wrapped by our jolly volunteers.

There is always a place to serve at the Christmas Toy Store! This opportunity to serve is low-commitment and a heartwarming experience for all involved. Volunteers are needed for shopping, store preparation and helping out during store operating hours.

Please refrain from donating clothing, school supplies or stuffed animals.
