Girl Rising Documentary & Debrief Workshop

Join Mission Waco Mission World in a movie night! We will watch the documentary Girl Rising and follow it up with a post-film discussion. A quote from the Girl Rising website states the following: "Girl Rising’s mission is to use the power of storytelling to change the way the world values girls and their education."

Through our global programs, we are working to break the barriers to girls’ education. Educating girls is one of the world’s very best investments - transforming lives and unleashing positive ripple effects across families, communities, and nations. Led by Mission World staff, this workshop will explore the way that "one girl with courage is a revolution."
