Summer Programs

Summer Program

Youth summer program is fun in the sun from June to July! Complete with nearby field trips, engaging activities and a safe environment that fosters lifelong friendships, this program focuses on holistically developing 6th-12th graders during the months when school is not in session.

Our youth also attend a summer camp at Camp of the Hills in Marble Falls and go on an out-of-state trip.

When: Starts June 1st through July 23rd, 2026 and meets Monday-Wednesday from 2-5:30 p.m.

Where: Mission Waco Youth Center (1305 N 15th St)

Youth Nights are the highlight of the week for our middle and high school students—a place where fun, friendship, and faith come together. Students can expect an energetic environment filled with games, laughter, and time to connect with friends both old and new. Each gathering also includes a short, engaging devotional designed to encourage and challenge students in their walk with God, presented in a way that’s relevant to their everyday lives. And of course, there’s always food—because everything’s better with snacks!

Whether your student is new or has been coming for years, Youth Nights are a welcoming space to belong, grow, and have a great time.

Thursdays 6-8pm starting June 4th at our youth center, 1305 N. 15th.

If you are interested in attending the youth program or volunteering, please contact Shay Evans ([email protected]).

An Out-of-This State Experience

Each summer, our youth have the opportunity to travel out-of-state. We believe one of the best learning opportunities for our youth is to travel and experience different parts of the United States. They have traveled to Washington DC, Chicago and New Orleans.

The youth are personally responsible for 40% of the cost of their trip. They do this through their jobs, bake sales, garage sales, and other creative money-earning outlets. Mission Waco helps cover the other 60% of their trip and the cost of chaperones.

If you are interested in helping support our youth and their summer trip, please contact McKenzie Lacy.
