Bailie Rouse is the Associate Executive Director of Advancement. She grew up in Davenport, Iowa, and she attended the University of Northern Iowa where she received a BA in Human Services. After graduation, Bailie moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan to intern at a shelter for the homeless where she gained a passion for serving marginalized communities. She transitioned to work with teenage girls who were survivors of sexual exploitation at Wedgwood Christian Services. During this time, she gained new perspective of the long term effects of trauma and desired to gain new skills and understanding to help individuals who have experienced trauma. She received her MA in Counseling at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary and went on to gain her license as a Licensed Professional Counselor while counseling at risk youth and young adults.
Bailie and her spouse Kyle moved to Waco, TX in 2021 as Kyle started a PhD in Old Testament at Baylor University. Bailie desired to become more involved in Christian Community Development and had the opportunity to serve at Mission Waco as the Volunteer Director until October 2025.
Bailie and her family attend Mosaic Waco. She enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, family and friends. In her free time she enjoys baking, staying active and meeting new people!
