Education is a pillar of Mission Waco’s Urban REAP (Renewable Energy & Agricultural Project). This is where you’ll find all of the educational content produced by our expert staff. We want our community to understand how to best care for the earth we’ve been given.

Urban REAP Workshop Schedule

We offer a wide variety of workshops on gardening, landscaping, our Texas native wildlife, and more! Offered on Saturdays, each workshop is led by local experts and is free to public.

We have created four unique educational programs for you and your students to learn about topics ranging from our local environment to our national food system. Whether you choose from one of our pre-set programs or want to tailor one to your specific group, we are excited to partner with you!

Resources for Parents

Are you looking for activities to do with your kids? The second week of every month we have a Discovery Activity that is free for kids of all ages to come explore some aspect of our world. Whether we are making birdfeeders, or seed art, we want to help connect you and your family to our Earth!
